2- Banff Gondola Mountaintop and Chateau Lake Louise Experince.
1 Banff Gondola Mountaintop Experience .
Banff , Alberta
Take a ride on the Banff Gondola.
If you’re searching for those “must-do” activities in the Canadian Rockies, you’ve come to the right spot. The Banff Gondola ride offers some of the best activities to ensure that you’ll see the best of what Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies have to offer. Get a bird’s-eye view of the Canadian Rockies, or get an eye-to-eye view of a big horn sheep. All the information you need to get your vacation going is right here.
The Gondola Ride
This is truly one of the best ways to see the mountains of the Canadian Rockies. The ride itself takes eight minutes, and brings you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain in a superb, fully-enclosed four passenger gondola. The views get more and more amazing by the second as you climb 698m (2,292 ft) to an elevation of 2,281m (7,486 ft) at the Summit Upper Terminal – the departure point for a mountaintop of activities.
Wildlife
Keep an eye out for wildlife and birds that frequent the Banff Gondola area. The Canadian Rockies are nature’s playground and here you can encounter local wildlife including Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, Golden mantled ground squirrels, Hoary marmots, Clark’s nutcracker and the Canada (Gray) jay.
Please remember that although these animals are for the most part friendly, they are wild, and should not be fed or approached.
2 Chateau /Lake Louise. : Lake Louise experience.
This lake and its famous glacier is about an hour from Banff on the Trans-Canada Highway . One look at the picture and you'll realize why it is a destination for a constant stream of tourists. Despite the crowds, though, the trail along the edge of the lake that heads toward the glacier is a must-do activity. It's a moderate trail, although you can take a harder one that branches off of it, and it gives you great views of the glacier, and of the famous Chateau Lake Lousie that sits on the lake's edg

Im thrilled you love Banff!
ReplyDeleteIts one of my favourite places to visit.
It is truely beautiful, and the people are fantastic!
The last time I went we took a camping trip at the end of May which is pretty much summer and it snowed the whole time!
I was so sick when I got back from sleeping in the snow in a tent!
I enjoyed learning a little bit more about Banff as well.
You have a great blog post.
